Dear Reader:

[12 June 2019] The pages on this site are in transition; your patience is appreciated.

The C. S. Lewis Society of Chattanooga has served the greater Chattanooga community since 2005.  As a review of our blog posts demonstrates, we have held all kinds of events through the years, as well as co-sponsoring the annual C. S. Lewis Lecture at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

For several years, there has been discussion about the possibility of establishing a Christian Study Center for Chattanooga.  A group of us in Chattanooga are now working to move toward the establishing of such a center, beginning with a focus of operations on the UTC campus by the C. S. Lewis Society.

To that end, the Society now has an office near the UTC campus (in The Newman Center on Palmetto Street).  We are planning a series of events on campus for the 2019-2020 school year, and Rev. Beckmann is going to be daily on campus, praying and interacting with students and faculty.

You are invited to participate in this effort with us, if you wish to do so.  We are looking for people who will commit to praying for the study center.  Financial donations will also be helpful.  Other opportunities may open in the future.

If you wish to help, feel free to contact Rev. Beckmann at revbeckmann @ gmail.com .

To aid you in understanding the vision we have for this study center, we invite you to read the page, "What is a Study Center?" on the website of The Consortium of Christian Study Centers.
