Greetings, Lewis Fans! A Quick update on a few things:
1. Aaron Arnold has started a Narnia reading group. The idea is to read the Chronicles of Narnia - starting with book 1 - over the next few months. It's not too late to join. Sign up for the group on Facebook; "Reading Through Narnia 2014," if you want to search for it. The group plans to have a face-to-face meeting in February.
2. Ken Myers of Mars Hill Audio will be the speaker at the annual UTC C. S. Lewis Lecture this year. We will meet in the UTC University Center Auditorium on Tuesday, 4 March. I think it will be at 7:00 p.m., but be sure to reserve the evening. Mr. Myers is going to speak on Lewis' relationship with Owen Barfield. It will be excellent.
3. Believe it or not, Alistair McGrath is coming out with yet another book on Lewis. This one is a little different. It's called If I Had Lunch with C. S. Lewis. The idea is to consider what Lewis might have said at an informal lunch meeting regarding various topics, which include the meaning of life, friendship, the importance of story and coping with suffering. The book will come out in April. I'm reading an advance copy and hope to have a review for you soon.
4. If you don't visit our Facebook page, you really ought. Lots of cool stuff is posted there regularly.
Long live the true King!
